CHALLENGE
Positioning Smart Outdoor as a modern, national digital out-of-home media owner in a fast-moving and increasingly technology-led advertising landscape. Since launching in 2019, Smart Outdoor has grown rapidly, building the North East’s largest digital out-of-home network and expanding across the UK. However, the existing brand no longer reflected the scale of the estate, the sophistication of the technology behind it, or the ambition of a business pushing into new national partnerships. The identity needed to better communicate Smart Outdoor’s expertise, credibility and forward-thinking approach, while remaining flexible enough to grow with the network.
SOLUTION
Digital out-of-home advertising has moved fast, with greater focus on technology, targeting and impact. Our response was to create a clear, confident brand system that reflects Smart Outdoor’s role as a modern media owner.
A new logo, refined colour palette and robust typographic framework brought consistency across a growing national estate, while remaining flexible across formats and environments. The redesigned website unified the brand digitally, clearly communicating scale, capability and ambition.
